What is flue tile resurfacing?
Flue tile resurfacing is a ceramic coating sprayed or troweled onto the inside of an existing clay tile flue to seal joints and small cracks. It is applied under the maker's instructions and checked by camera afterwards.
Several proprietary systems exist; the usable ones are tested and listed to a standard, and that — not the brand name — is what to ask about.
When is it actually needed?
