What is a firebox rebuild?
A firebox rebuild relays or rebuilds the chamber the fire burns in when its joints have washed out, its brick has cracked, or its back wall leans. In a masonry fireplace the firebox is built of firebrick laid in refractory mortar. Ordinary brick and ordinary mortar do not belong in it.
